Formula One changes gears in Asia-Pacific

FORMULA ONE CHANGES GEAR

Fresh from a chaotic Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, television coverage of formula One motorsport is set to switch broadcast partners in Asia-Pacific. Sports Business reports that the pay-TV broadcaster be in sports is finalizing a multi-year deal beginning in 2023 that covers most of its Asia-Pacific footprint but excludes Australia, where Foxtel recently renewed its deal, and New Zealand. The anticipated deal would cover Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Singapore. The rights were previously operated by Fox SportsAsiawhich Disney It closed around this time last year.

OUT-OF-COURT SETTLEMENT
